For immediate release

March 15 , 2010; Fort Myers, FL --   High-wire artist Nik Wallenda, currently on-tour with Circus Sarasota, will defy gravity Friday March 19th at approximately 12 Noon when he walks across a wire suspended between the 32-story towers of High Point Place in downtown Ft. Myers.  (The luxury condominium towers are located on West First Street between McGregor Boulevard and the Caloosahatchee River.)  Looming 397-feet above the ground, High Point Place represents the highest “Skywalk” ever attempted by Nik Wallenda whose family is universally-renowned for such daring feats and who, himself, has performed similar aerial acrobatics as part of his coast-to-coast “Walk Across America Tour”.

“We invite the public to join us in watching Nik Wallenda when he does his extraordinary Skywalk,” says Joseph Cameratta, Chief Executive Officer of Cameratta Properties, the developer of High Point Place. “High Point Place will be noted not only as the tallest upscale condominium in southwest Florida, but the location of Mr. Wallenda’s record-breaking skywalk as well.”

In case of inclement weather, the rain date for Nik Wallenda’s daring skywalk will be Saturday March 20, at 10am.

A featured performer in the 2010 edition of Circus Sarasota, Nik has previously set a Guinness world record for the longest distance and greatest height ever travelled by bicycle on a high wire.  In each performance of Circus Sarasota, Nik Wallenda and his troupe will re-create his family’s legendary 7-person pyramid perched on a wire suspended in the upper reaches of Circus Sarasota’s landmark Big Top.

Circus Sarasota, live on-tour in Ft. Myers, opens Friday evening, March 12, and continues through Sunday, March 28. The Big Top is located exclusively at Gulf Coast Town Center, near the intersection of I-75 (Exit 128) and Alico Road.  Tickets for the live tour of
